Spice Farm
Zanzibar is known as the ‘spice island’. Many of the spices found in kitchens around the world are grown here and exported worldwide. That’s why a spice tour is one of the most popular excursions on Zanzibar.
We pick you up from your hotel around 9.00 AM and will reach the spice farm after approx. 45 minutes drive. In a two hour tour you will learn about various fruits and spices domestic to Zanzibar, and the different ways they can be used not just to flavour food, but also as organic remedies for a multitude of medical disorders. You will also have the chance to watch the way local people take fresh coconuts down from the trees and taste fresh organic tropical fruits.
After lunch including soft drinks and fruits, w etake you back to your hotel, where we will arrive around 2.00 PM.
